Event Timer + (“the App”) is an Android application that lets you run a shared presentation timer and notes between two devices on the same local Wi‑Fi network. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the App and how it is handled.

What the App does (in short)
- You choose Controller on one device and Display on another.
- Timer and note content are synchronized directly between your devices over your local network (device‑to‑device). The App does not require you to create an account in the App.
- An optional one‑time purchase can unlock extended features (such as longer timer duration and unlimited notes). Purchases are processed by Google Play using Google’s systems.

Information we do not collect through our own servers
The App does not operate a login system in the App and does not send your timer text, notes, or usage analytics to our servers, because we do not provide a backend service for the App’s core features. Synchronization for the timer and notes happens locally on your Wi‑Fi between your devices.

Information handled by Google (Play & Billing)
When you install or purchase through Google Play, Google processes information according to Google’s own policies, including:
- App installation, updates, and crash reporting as provided by Google’s platform.
- In‑app purchases and payment processing through Google Play Billing.
We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase status is made available to the App through Google’s billing services so the App can unlock paid features on your device.

Permissions the App may use
The App may request permissions such as network access and Wi‑Fi / multicast access so that your two devices can find each other and connect on the same local network. These permissions support local communication between devices you control; they are not used to track your location as a GPS-style “where you are on a map” feature.

Data retention
- Notes and timer state you enter stay on your devices as part of normal app operation; we do not operate a cloud account in the App to store them on our servers.
- Information held by Google (e.g. purchase records) is retained according to Google’s policies and your Google account settings.

Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us in error, contact us at the email below and we will help as appropriate.
